ANNUAL SPRING MEMBERS' EXHIBITION - APRIL 30TH - JUNE 4TH
THE CALL: Our Annual Spring Members' Exhibit offers YAA members a chance to showcase their art alongside their peers. This YAA members only exhibit is not themed, so works of any genre and medium are welcome! (If you are not a member and would like to participate you can join our group of amazing artists and art lovers by going to: JOIN US, to initiate your membership.)
There are 2 categories of artists for entry, professional and nonprofessional which are defined in the following link along with our standards and practices for all of our exhibitions: Accepted Works and Artist Guidelines and Exhibition Contract.
AWARDS: First, Second and third for each category: professional and nonprofessional
First Place: $200 Second Place: $150 Third Place: $100
Overall Best of Show: $300
Doris Cohen Memorial Pastel Award: $100
Susan Mall Watercolor Award: $100
Total awards offered $1400!
ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS: March 13TH @ 8AM. Members are invited to enter UP TO 2 PIECES of art. Registration is ONE piece per transaction. Those who wish to enter a second piece will register it separately, with a separate transaction fee. (All registrations are non-refundable and additional registrations, beyond the two-piece limit, per artist, will not be accepted and fees collected will be considered generous donations. If you are unable to register online, please call the office at 717-755-0028.)
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES: April 17TH @ 2PM.(Sorry, no walk-ins or late registrations.)
INTAKE DAY: MONDAY, April 24th, 2-6PM Artist are asked to hand deliver and sign in all works. ID Tags will be printed for you. (No early drop offs.) All art must be prepared for hanging with gallery quality, braided wire.

OPENING RECEPTION: SUNDAY, April 30 (2-4PM) Awards announced around 2:30.
JUROR: Pennsylvania artist Julie Riker graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She is primarily a plein air painter who has won several national and regional awards. Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine has published her work and she has been profiled in Plein Air Magazine. She has juried several art exhibitions in the area.
PICKUPS: Pick up of unsold art will be Sunday, June 4th from 4-4:30pm and June 5th from 10am-2pm. If you are unable to pick up your art on pick up days, please have an associate retrieve your pieces for you during these designated times. NOTE: WE CANNOT STORE UNSOLD ART BEYOND THESE PICK UP TIMES! We will not be responsible for any damage or loss to art left behind after these dates.Our early spring exhibit will feature artistic depictions of portals and passages and runs from March 12 to April 23, 2023.
