The York Art Association is pleased to announce the opening of the Rottler Award Winners Exhibition, Sunday June 5th, from 2-4pm.
It is with great excitement that we host our five fine artist winners from last year's Rottler Selection Exhibition: Donna Welsh, Clare Stoner, Patricia Caulfield, Richard Chandler Hoff, and Elicia Frazier.
To see the amazing artwork of these talented YAA members, plan to attend the Exhibition Opening Reception on June 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This is a great time to meet these artists! The Exhibition runs from June 5 through July 10, 2022 and is open for viewing during normal Association hours.
This Exhibition honors the winners of the Rottler Award for Excellence in the Visual Arts in a members-only exhibit held in 2021. Each winner was awarded $500 and now provides them with their own group show in the Nancy M. Woodward Gallery!
These awards are made possible through a bequest to the Association by the late E. Kurt Rottler, a devoted member and President of the Board of Directors from 1965 to 1970.
Also showing concurrently in the Sally Danyo Members' Sales Gallery will be works by the late Tom Conway, a local artist who loved life and marveled at all the beauty in nature and found wonders in every season. We are honored by his wife Peggy, who has generously shared his work with YAA for the public to enjoy.
