CALL FOR ART: YAA's 54th Annual Open Juried Exhibition

YAA's most prestigious exhibition recognizes the excellence of our regional artists, with it's final show of 2025 to be held at 220 S. Marshall Street location.

The only juried exhibition of the year, opens it's call for art, via the website, artcall.org.

The digital open call will accept original, fine art submissions until
Friday, September 19th at 12pm/noon.
The exhibition is open to all fine artists and genres. There is no theme for this exhibition. Up to 110 pieces will be selected via digital entry, by juror, Laura Turner Igoe, for the show. All accepted entries must be hand-deliverable, so regional artists are encouraged to participate. York Art Association does not accept shipped art.

Pick-Up of Art (@ Closing) (Sunday) December 14th, 4-5:30pm and (Monday & Tuesday) December 15th & 16th, 10-2pm
Our Juror

Laura Turner Igoe, PhD, is the Gerry and Marguerite Lenfest Chief Curator at the James A. Michener Art Museum.
She is the coeditor of A Greene Country Towne: Philadelphia’s Ecology in the Cultural Imagination, and she has contributed essays to the journals American Art, Panorama, and Common-place, and the exhibition catalogue Nature’s Nation: American Art and Environment. At the Michener, she curated or co-curated Through the Lens: Modern Photography in the Delaware Valley (2021), Daring Design: The Impact of Three Women on Wharton Esherick’s Craft (2021–2022), Never Broken: Visualizing Lenape Histories (2023), and Yesterday's Dreams Are Real: Collecting Black Art and the Legacy of Lewis Tanner Moore (2025).
Awards
There will be six awards given, five Awards of Excellence ($600 each) and one Best of Show ($1750) with total awards amounting to $4,750.
