Welcome YAA's New Office Administrator: Ruoxia Li

As the York Art Association continues to grow, we are excited to welcome a new member to our team. This is an important step as we expand our programs, increase access to the arts, and prepare to open our new home.

We are thrilled to introduce Ruoxia Li as our new Office Administrator. She brings 20 years of experience in office management, event coordination, record keeping and calendar management from her experiences as the Co-Executive Director of Global Mission, Church of the Brethren and as Founder and President of You’ai Care, where she established vital partnerships and administered hospice and home-based care programs in the Shanxi province in China. Her attention to detail, organizational strengths, and commitment to community-focused work make her a natural fit for this role at a pivotal moment in YAA’s history.

As Office Administrator, Ruoxia will play a central role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization. She will help manage administrative systems, coordinate the gallery programs and communications, and ensure seamless experience for our members, students, and visitors. With the rapid growth of our classes, exhibitions, and community partnerships, this role is essential to maintaining the quality and consistency of everything we offer.

Her addition to YAA’s team comes at a time of significant momentum. Over the past year, YAA has seen substantial growth in participation and programming, alongside the progress of our Art Transforming capital campaign and upcoming transition into a larger, more dynamic space. Bringing Ruoxia onto the team reflects our commitment to building the internal capacity needed to support this expansion and serve our community at a higher level.

We are excited for what’s ahead and we look forward to the impact Ruoxia will have as part of the York Art Association team.
