The York Art Association By-Laws is the principal governing document of York Art Association, Inc. and is reviewed and revised periodically. The original Articles of Incorporation of York Art Association, Inc. were recorded in the Office for the Recording of Deeds in and for York County, Pennsylvania in Record Book 52M, Page 294, March 6, 1962 and remain on file in the office of the Prothonotary.
From time to time the York Art Association Board of Directors establishes new and updates existing policies to improve and clarify operational procedures and guidelines for members and visitors to the York Art Association facility and exhibit venues.
