The results are in and the submission forms and notifications to artists have been processed and dropped in the mail (as of late Tuesday afternoon, October 28). We apologize for the delay. Artists should receive word by Monday, November 3 at the latest.
If you submitted work(s) for consideration, please do not call the office for the results of the selection process. Our office managers do not have the information at this time. You will receive your notification by mail (whether your work was accepted or declined).
Our juror, Mr. Jay McKean Fisher, Deputy Director of Curatorial Affairs and Senior Curator of Prints, Drawings & Photographs for the Baltimore Museum of Art selected seventy-nine works by forty-eight artists. Awards will be determined after the works are delivered by the artists and installed by the Gallery Committee.
Thank you to ALL artists who submitted work for consideration and congratulations to those artists selected for the exhibit. We appreciate your support of the York Art Association and the arts in South Central Pennsylvania.
The 2015 Exhibit Schedule has been posted on the main “Exhibits” page; you can open and download a PDF version for your files (or print it for your refrigerator) HERE. The schedule contains all of the pertinent dates (intakes, opening receptions, exhibit dates). There are ample opportunities to participate in exhibits for members and non-members of all ages.
